Vodafone is New Zealand’s largest mobile company with 42% of the market share. Vodafone NZ was formed in 1988 after London based parent company bought out the mobile operator BellSouth. Vodafone’s mobile network grid is made up of 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks and they claim their 3G network coverage reaches 97.5% of where Kiwis live, work and play.
