Vodafone have recently introduced carry over minutes and data on their Prepay Carry Over $19 and Prepay Carry Over $29 plans. The prepay plan market is hotter than ever right now and Vodafone have finally met the competition with 2degrees and Skinny already offering similar carryover (or rollover) features for unused minutes and data on their plans for a while now.

Interestingly enough, Vodafone have done very little to publicize the new carry over feature anywhere that we can find – the best we can find is halfway down the Prepay Terms and Conditions page on their website. We can only assume this is a ploy to keep existing prepay customers from switching to a competitor’s more attractive prepay plans.

Customers on existing prepay $19 and $29 plans have automatically been switched to the new carryover plans. Unfortunately for us Vodafone on account customers, we miss out on carry over for now – probably because there is much less chance we will jump ship.
