2degrees have announced a major overhaul of their mobile plans which took effect on 16th February 2015. All 24 month fixed term plans have been now retired, and essentially calling/data caps have been raised on Open Term $49 and $69 (Pay Monthly) plans and a new $89 Plan has been introduced. These changes have added much needed competition in the mobile market and it’s inevitable that other mobile operators follow suit in the near future to retain their share of the market.
These new mobiles plans now include unlimited calling and texts to NZ and Australia and heaps more data that the previous plans.
